VII Congress of the Kurash Confederation of Asia: A Step Towards Development, Reform and Harmony

Malaysia Kurash Association, General Secretary Mdm Susan Cheah represented Kurash Malaysia to attend the congress

The conference, attended by leaders from about 25 national federations, the General Secretary of the International Kurash Association Mohammad Reza Nassiri, Technical Director Ravi Kapoor, Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, President of the Kurash Confederation of Asia Komil Ruziyev, Vice President Hameed Farman, Secretary General Farrukh Saidkulov, Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Seoul Sardor Sadikov, leaders of the city of Goesan and Jungwon University, as well as international observers, discussed important issues regarding the prospects of Kurash on the continent, institutional reforms and prospects for cooperation.

Opening the Congress, the President of the KCA, Komil Ruziev, welcomed the guests and delegates in his speech and expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Korean Kurash Federation, the Geosan City Administration, and Jungwon University for hosting the conference.

“Today’s Congress is another serious step for the development of Kurash, which combines ancient and modern values,” the President of the KCA recognised.
Komil Ruziev also emphasised that the Asian Championship among seniors, cadets, and juniors, which will start tomorrow, is an important test for everyone and a qualifying process for international competitions.
